Garlic Mayo Chicken Tenders

Garlic Mayo Chicken Tenders

These buttermilk marinated chicken tenders with Garlic mayo sauce are superb! Perfect for a lunch out or as what I like, watching a show while eating these chicken tenders. I might just have made a wrong move by tossing the chicken with the sauce because the coating seemed delicate which I observed everytime I fry a buttermilk marinated chicken. I guess drizzling or dipping the sauce is a better a idea.

  • 1/4 tsp cayenne
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Breading:

  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp paprika powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne powder
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup mayo
  • 1/4 cup cream
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp garlic paste

Other:

  • Oil for frying

Instructions:
1. Slice the chicken in long cuts. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients for the marinade and mix. Add the chicken and massage quickly with the marinade. Place it in a container, cover, and place in the chiller for a few hours or overnight (recommended)
2. After marinating, remove the chicken from the marinade and pat dry. In a separate bowl, combine all the ingredients for the breading. Coat the chicken with the breading then fry in heated oil until golden brown in color.
3. For the sauce, combine all the ingredients in one bowl then mix until fully combined.
4. Serve the chicken with the garlic mayo sauce and it is best served with fries. Enjoy!
