Mango Graham Ice Cream

Mango Graham Ice Cream

Mango Graham Float is probably the most popular dessert in the Philippines. It only needs 4 ingredients that are easy to find. It’s a cold dessert which I think makes it better since the weather here is pretty hot and having one cools up your mind.

Lately, I found a new way to make this dessert, and that is mixing it all up together turing it into ice cream! What makes this even better is that it’s more creamy and easier to make!

Recipe

Ingredients:
  • 2 packs (250ml) of All purpose cream, chilled
  • 1 can (374g) of condensed milk
  • 2 large yellow riped mangoes, chopped
  • 10 pcs of Graham crackers (or as much as you like!)

Instructions:

  1. Before anything, place the 2 packs of cream in the fridge a few hours early for it to chill.
  2. Prepare mangoes buy chopping into small cubes. It will yeild about 1-1 1/2 cups. You can add more if you like. Set it aside.
  3. Crush graham crackers into small pieces then set them aside.
  4. In a bowl, add ice and water then place another bowl on top. This is an important step to keep the chilled cream nice and thick.
  5. Add the chilled cream on the bowl on top then, with a whisk, mix it until creamy in texture. Add the condesed milk and continue mixing. With a spatula, fold in the mangoes and graham crackers.
  6. Place the mixture in a tub and cover it. Place it in the freezer for about 3-4 hours to let it set.
  7. When the mixture is already cold but not too frozen, it is ready!
