Honey Sriracha Chicken



If you have some sriracha at home, then you need to try this easy chicken recipe. It’s a bit spicy but super delicious! It goes well with your favorite ranch dressing!

Ingredients

Marination:

  • 250g chicken breast, sliced into cubes
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 ground black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
  • 1 egg

Honey Sriracha Sauce

  • 5 tbsp butter
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup sriracha
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 tsps lemon juice

Others

  • All purpose flour for breading
  • Oil for frying


Instructions:

  1. Prepare the chicken by slicing the breasts into small bite sized cubes. In a bowl, add chicken, salt, pepper, garlic, and 1 egg. Mix together and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. After marinating the chicken, coat it with flour. 
  3. Fry the chicken on medium heat until golden brown in color. Set it aside.
  4. Prepare the sauce by melting butter in a saucepan. Then, add the honey, sriracha, water, and lemon juice. Stir the sauce until it start to bubble and has a syrup like consistency.
  5. In a bowl, add the chicken and the sauce together. Toss the bowl so the chicken get’s evenly coated with the sauce or you can simply mix with a large spoon.
  6. Serve on a plate with ranch dressing. Enjoy!
